Case overview
PrideInn Hotels & Lodges is one of Kenya’s leading hospitality groups, operating hotels, resorts, and camps across the country. In 2022, Redflame Communications was engaged to lead a comprehensive rebranding strategy aimed at repositioning the brand from a budget-focused perception to a premium hospitality offering.
Involvement
- Brand repositioning strategy development
- Creative direction and brand identity overhaul
- Development of marketing and brand communication assets
- Brand Book (Brand Manual) development

The Brief
PrideInn Hotels & Lodges required a new brand direction that reflected its evolving service standards and premium guest experience.
The objective was to modernize the brand’s visual identity, move away from the existing red color palette and logo system, and establish a refined look and feel aligned with upscale hospitality positioning.
Our Approach
Beginning in 2022, we conducted a strategic brand assessment to understand PrideInn’s market position, audience perception, and long-term vision. Working closely with the PrideInn marketing team and NewAge Media, we developed a new visual and strategic direction that emphasized sophistication, warmth, and premium service delivery.

The Results
In November 2023, PrideInn Hotels, Resorts, and Camps successfully launched the new brand identity. The rebrand marked a significant shift in market perception—positioning PrideInn as a premium hospitality brand. The new identity strengthened brand consistency, elevated visual presence across properties and digital platforms, and supported the group’s long-term growth strategy.
